As a part of Chatham’s new festival, CK On the Edge are organizing a photo challenge with a twist. The challenge: take your favourite photo(s) and, make alterations inspired by an “edge” theme using a graphics program or any other artistic approach. You can use paint, markers, Photoshop, scissors…the sky is the limit. See if you can ‘wow’ our seasoned judges! Judging ‘Alter’d On the Edge’ will be Brad Butzer of Chamberlain Mercury Printing, Chatham; Brent Foster, owner of Brent Foster Photography, Wallaceburg; and Kim Storey, partner with Brown and Storey Architects Inc., Toronto, Chatham site office. Laurie Langford will be curating.

Once you’ve entered, bring your ‘alter’d’ artwork to The Cultural Centre, 75 William Street North, Chatham between Monday, June 21 at 9am and Friday, June 25th at 5pm.
Your $5 entry fee entitles you to up to 3 submissions.

Awards, which have been generously provided by our friends at Chamberlain Mercury Printing, will be given out at the CK On the Edge closing reception on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 3pm in Studio One of the Cultural Centre. Entries will be displayed in the Downtown Chatham Centre during CK On The Edge, July 8 – 18, 2010.
