CK on the Edge in partnership with CKdances announces a new competition – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CK with the finals to take place at Tastefest on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in downtown Chatham.

So get your dancin’ shoes on (or off) and prepare to get down!

Preliminaries will take place at the Kiwanis Theatre on Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29 from 6:30-8:00 pm nightly.  Come with one prepared solo piece 1-2 minutes long and don’t forget your music.  You can print the entry form from www.ckontheedge.com or complete one when you show up.  Your piece can be in any genre but dancers are encouraged to think outside of the box with their audition pieces; pieces that are unique, creative and contemporary will be give special consideration.

Judges Jamie Johnston, Alysson Storey and Jenne Wason Pickard will select the top 10 dancers to perform live at Tastefest on July 10 where the audience will vote to choose the ultimate winner.  And what will you win you ask?  Top prize is $200 cash with 2 runners up taking home $50 each.
